Benson Boone's Momma Song - Acoustic Cover by The W Duo

Sometime last week, Lyndsey came to me with a song she had found and fallen in love with. It was Benson Boone's Momma Song. I immediately saw why she liked it. It has all the things we look for in our music: a good message, memorable melody, dramatic performance and powerful vocals. I was quickly persuade to help her do a cover of this song. As we got talking more about it, she mentioned it would be great to release it in conjunction with the release of Benson Boone's full album, American Heart. She added that she thought it was coming out in July sometime. I agreed "Let's make it happen!" Then she looked up the release date and found it was actually coming out the next day! I said "Let's do it anyway. We can do it, right?" So, we spent the next day and a half busily working on music in our home studio. While I mixed. In the end, we had something really good! In fact, Lyndsey is more proud of this video than any other we have done. I agree, her vocals are stellar and I am super pleased with what I was able to do with the instruments and the mix. We hope you love it too!
